A sturdy case for a cycling computer, how do you make<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>something like<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>that? After a creative moment\u00a0<\/span>Winanda<\/span>\u00a0and Tim went to work with used tubes (tires from track<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>cycling bikes). The first case was assembled by hand. Not much later\u00a0<\/span>Winanda<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>needed<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(bicycle) material bag. This would have been a lot of manual work. So\u00a0<\/span>Winanda bought a sewing machine and the first material bag was put together.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p><\/div>

Not much later the question came from Jaap,\u00a0<\/span>Winanda\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0father, if\u00a0<\/span>she could also make a small wallet to use when riding<\/span>. In a\u00a0<\/span>fairly short<\/span>\u00a0and powerful\u00a0<\/span>phone call<\/span>\u00a0between father and daughter Spoor the name \u201c<\/span>Spoortemonneetje<\/span>\u201d was born. (\u201c<\/span>Portemonnee<\/span>\u201d is Du<\/span>t<\/span>ch for wallet, when combined with the surname \u201cSpoor\u201d and the diminutive \u201c<\/span>tje<\/span>\u201d you get \u201c<\/span>Spoortemonneetje<\/span>\u201d. That rhymes with \u201c<\/span>Leuk<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>ideetje<\/span>\u201d what means \u201cnice idea\u201d). The first\u00a0<\/span>Spoortemonneetje<\/span>\u00a0was successful, there was\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>demand,<\/span>\u00a0shortly after\u00a0<\/span>even more demand<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0a better machine, more products and an extra (heavier) sewing machine. After all these investments,\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>website<\/span>\u00a0was finally launched<\/span> in 2019. In 2020 around 7 dealers came on board and the website was made international!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Materials that are otherwise seen as waste form the raw material for the\u00a0Spoortmonneetje. Made in the Netherlands by adult hands under good conditions. That\u2019s the way<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Spoortemonneetje\u00a0wants to make the world a little better and brighter.
